Applications for Statewide ABI Flexible Support Packages (Round 2) 2011-2012 Financial Year are now being accepted.
Statewide ABI Flexible Support Funding is available for non-compensable clients aged up to 64 years old, living in metropolitan or regional areas, who have a non compensable ABI. Funding can be used flexibly to assist people to continue to live independently in the community.
Due to limited funds available this round, applications will be considered for people in the target group, who fall within one or several of the following categories:
- Reside in a pension-only SRS or a Nursing Home
- Are at risk of homelessness
- Are geographically isolated (live in rural & remote Victoria, not including regional centres or metro areas)
- Those who are unable to access other appropriate funding services or have been unsuccessful in receiving other funding
Maximum package amount is $4375.00 and packages are limited to a maximum period of 12 months. Please do not submit applications exceeding this amount.
Applications should be posted to MCM, or faxed to the below number.
Please note the closing date for applications is 5pm Friday 24th February 2012.
Applications will be presented to the Statewide Flexible Funding Panel on the 19th March 2012 and applicants will be notified of decisions after this time.
