Autism Victoria - now trading as Amaze

We are delighted to announce that the new look and new website for Autism Victoria are now launched!

Autism Victoria is a proud organisation with a history going back to 1967, when a group of parents of individuals with ASDs got together .
 

Autism Victoria is a proud organisation with a history going back to 1967, when a group of parents of individuals with ASDs got together to help each other and provide support to other parents. Those beginnings set the direction for the future, and Autism Victoria trading as Amaze, continues to provide a first point of contact for everything related to Autism Spectrum Disorder, putting the individuals and their families at the forefront of everything we do.

The new look is the result of consultation with members, parents and other interested groups, and working with professional designers to respond to their requests for a look that included bright colours, a welcoming image, an uplifting presence and friendly language.

The name Amaze reflects the two sides of the coin:

Amaze – life is a maze for those with an ASD
Amaze – those with an ASD continually amaze

The name and logo will remind us of the positives but keep us mindful that life is confusing for those with an ASD. We hope this will help us remember to enjoy the good moments and strive to fulfil the potential of all those with an ASD.
