Brimbank Best Start and Communities for Children invite you to attend the Brimbank Family and Children’s Expo!

When? Tuesday May 22nd, from 10:00am -1:00pm

What and Why: The Expo will showcase a range of community initiatives for
Children (aged 0-12) and families in Brimbank! There will be a large number of Brimbank
based organisations represented so it will give you the opportunity to network with other
service providers and find out about all the great things happening in Brimbank for families and children.
You will find out about: support groups for families where a child has a disability, supported and parent run playgroups, initiatives to support children and families from migrant and refugee backgrounds, groups for young parents and much more!
The Expo is primarily aimed at service providers with parents and interested community
members also welcome. The format of the Expo is a structured morning organized around presentations of different initiatives, as well as time for networking opportunities.

How can I be involved? There are different ways you can be involved. If you are
interested in showcasing your family and children’s initiative then please let us know. This is open to any service provider working with children (aged 0-12) and families in Brimbank.
You can share your information by requesting an information display area, or else you may choose to be a presenter of your information to small groups. Otherwise you may wish to simply attend the expo and find out what is happening in the area for families and children and make use of the networking opportunities available.
