D-TUG: Disabled Transport Users Group
We are a group of people with disabilities living in Darebin.
We formed approximately five years ago, after the Feeling Good About Using Public Transport Group finished.
We meet monthly at Darebin Community Health (DCH) – Corner of Blake & Crevelli Streets, East Reservoir – to plan social outings using most forms of public transport.
Some of the places we have visited include the Zoo, Station Pier, the Rialto Tower, Scienceworks, the Museum, the Aquarium, and the movies.
We are able to provide you with a free public transport ticket for the day and are sometimes able to pay admission fees as well.
The group is open to all people with disabilities living in Darebin, and is currently seeking new members.
To join the group, and/or for more information, please contact Noel Johnson on 0419 889 072 or 9460 6716, or Colleen Hall (@ DCH) on 8470 1131.
