Disabled Persons Taxi Advisory Committee – 2012
 
Established in late 2008, the Disabled Persons Taxi Advisory Committee (DPTAC) gives taxi users with a disability, disability advocacy groups and others interested in taxi services for people with a disability an opportunity to provide advice and feedback to the Victorian Taxi Directorate (VTD) on policies and initiatives.

Nominations to become members of DPTAC for the next two years are now being sought. The VTD is particularly interested in receiving applications from Multi Purpose Taxi Program (MPTP) members, Wheelchair Accessible Taxi (WAT) users, disability organisations/advocacy groups and peak bodies. Existing members are welcome to re-nominate.

To apply, complete the Expression of Interest form and return to the VTD by 5pm, 10 February 2012. An acknowledgement of receipt will be sent to you. All nominees will be notified of the outcome of their expression of interest by 29 February 2012. The Expression of Interest Form can be downloaded at:

Meetings will be held three times a year at Department of Transport, 121 Exhibition Street, Melbourne. The first one is scheduled for March 2012.
