*NEW* Epilepsy Management Plan (EMP) templates now available

The Epilepsy Foundation of Victoria in partnership with Melba Support Services, Scope, Villa Maria and the Department of Human Services under the One Person, One Plan Initiative have developed an EMP that suits the needs supporting a person living with a disability.

This initiative was borne through the shared frustration within the disability sector of long EMPs that were often not easy to follow or implement. Also, for people accessing respite, it was not efficient for different plans to be completed by the family and doctor for each service they accessed.

Hence, this EMP is designed to be a disability sector standard. DHS have now incorporated this EMP within their Residential Practice Manual and The Epilepsy Foundation of Victoria encourage all disability service providers to adopt this new EMP within their services.
