FREE, accessible and disability friendly festival - the Darebin Community and Kite Festival.

In 2012 the Darebin Community and Kite Festival will be held on Sunday 19th February at All Nations Park.

The festival strives to be 100% accessible for people with disabilities. Two roving carers will be at the festival to assist with personal care, orientation and participation in activities etc. Attendant Carers can be reached in person by calling or visiting the Rest and Recharge Area (0408 594 305) or the Information Area (0408 672 682) on event day only. Why not call them on the day and have them meet you!

Wheelchairs are available for loan from the Rest and Recharge Area on the day of the festival, seats will be located at all stages and activity areas and are prioritised for people with a disability, disability parking is located behind the Northcote Police Station (next to All Nations Park, Northcote) and a drop off zone will be available on Brickworks Lane for people with disabilities.
