Week end camps run approximately bimonthly throughout the year.

Suitable for children with disabilities 7-12 and 13-18yrs who live in Melbourne's West not recieving other funding packages.

Great Break invites children/young people with a disability, who live within the Western Suburbs and do not receive other services, e.g. case management, respite plans, IP&S packages.

Children/young people can attend ONE camp each financial year period
(i.e. July to June)

Cost of ALL camps is $60 per person
If payment will be a problem please discuss this with Emma before camp so other arrangements can be made, i.e. payment plan

All costs will be covered by this amount. This includes drinks, snacks, food, activities, accommodation, travel and workers

Please note:
Activities are only given as guidelines. Activities are reliant on weather and may also vary depending on children’s needs and behaviour.

RSVP’s:
Although each camp has an individual RSVP closing date you are advised to reply ASAP to avoid disappointment. Applications for all camps are accepted at any time 1 ½ weeks before camp date if vacancies are still available.

FAMILY GETAWAY
SINGLE MOTHERS who have a child with a disability aged 7 – 12 & other children/siblings of similar age also invited
Have a weekend away as a family without all the hassle.
Children with a disability will spend the day doing fun stuff with group leaders as will sibs;
Mothers will be pampered & treated to special Mother’s Day activities with other female grownups.
Then at bedtime you’ll regroup as a family.
