The Iwasaki Foundation

Established by the generosity of the late benefactors, Mr. & Mrs. Yohachiro Iwasaki, and the initiative of Rockhampton businessman, the late Mr. Les Duthie. It was established for the purposes of providing subsidized, Motel-style, week long (approximately) Holidays - accommodation - for needy persons including the disadvantaged, infirm, disabled and aged.

The Subsidised Holiday Scheme with the assistance of the Management of the Bayview Tower Yeppoon, since May 2008, have been accommodating and assisting Iwasaki Foundation guests to enjoy a most memorable and fun filled holiday. Application process required and waiting period applies.

There is a waiting period of 1 year before you can apply, the cost for 6 days which includes 3 meals a day as of May 1st 2011 is $305 a week. The cost also applies to the carer accompanying the person with a disability.
