This session will assist workers in the health and community sector gain knowledge about
• Disability and incapacity
• Substitute decision-making – person responsible, guardians, medical agents
• Enduring Power of Attorney (medical treatment)
• Consent to medical treatment
• Withholding consent to medical treatment
• Refusal of medical treatment
• Where consent is not necessary
