The Rob McNamara Exhibition 2011

field presents its annual art exhibition showcasing the works of artists with and without disability. The 2011 Rob McNamara Exhibition, explored the theme There's a crack in everything, that's how the light gets in*, it was held form 5 to 18 August at the Collingwood Gallery, Smith Street, Collingwood. This years exhibition displayed 31 pieces of art by artists with and without disability and were shown without differentiation in an exhibition that is symbolic of inclusiveness.

Now in its fourth year, the exhibition is a mixed media presentation, and includes painting, print-making, photography and installation by established and emerging Australian artists.

field is committed to creating a more inclusive society by encouraging a culture of learning, as was Rob McNamara; husband, father, disability activist and passionate Collingwood supporter. field is proud to name this exhibition after him. Rob's autobiography, Touching the Corners.
