The Royal Children’s Hospital is on the move

The new Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) opens on 30 November 2011.
The new RCH is right next door to the current hospital in Parkville.
 

1.     Patient Move Day is Wednesday 30 November
        Inpatients will be moved in one day, mid‐week in daylight hours.

2.     Referral process will stay the same
        The referral process will stay the same in the new hospital.
        A referral form is available on the GP website or via a number of
        GP Practice software programs.

3.     Hospital contact details will stay the same

        Phone numbers, fax numbers and address will remain the same during
        and after the move.

4.     Outpatients will be known as Specialist Clinics

        All outpatient services will be centrally located and known as Specialist Clinics
