Broadmeadows Disability Services provide a variety of services and supports to people with a disability living in Melbourne's North.

Programs include:

Day Programs: Day Programs provide opportunities for people to explore a range of different life areas, skills, experiences and activities such as:
Independence and self-help skills
Recreation and Leisure
Education and Learning (including pre-vocational skills)
Arts and Craft
Personal Development

Individual Support Packages:
Individual Support Packages provide supports that aims to help people with an intellectual disability or an acquired brain injury to develop or maintain their skills so they can live more independently in the home or in the community.

RASP:Recreational Access Support Program (RASP) provides supported recreation & leisure activities for people with an Aquired Brain Injury (ABI) who live in the Northern area of Melbourne.

RASP provides group activities and/or supports for people to access already existing activities in their community.

Escapade: Escapade is funded to provide short-term, planned regular respite through recreation and leisure activities. Programmes are generally run on weekends and during school holidays.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?

To be part of the fun a person must:-

have a disability
be aged between 6 - 65 years old
principally reside in the local government areas of Hume & Moreland
rely on a voluntary primary carer in their living situation.

Activities
As far as it is possible and practical, all Members are encouraged to make choices about the activities that they would like to be involved in. Then an activity calendar is provided to each participant which outlines their scheduled activities and cost. Activities vary from local community markets and festivals, to other destinations in and around Melbourne.
